Creative Wave – 11th May

Happy Friday! A couple of sore heads in the office today after an award winning night at the Creative Pool annual awards!! 

1. As I mentioned, we were awarded a Silver award for last years Fans Not Numbers campaign for SKINS here’s a reminder of why we won! 
2. Childish Gambino’s ‘This is America’ has quite rightly been all over the internet since it was released on Saturday, it would have been song of the week but this write up from Creative Review is essential reading to accompany the video 
3. Donald Glover also appeared on SNL in this sketch parodying John Krasinski’s ‘A Quiet Place’ featuring those Kanye West tweets 
4. Jacqueline Wilson showed us a first look of the latest illustrations her iconic character Tracy Beaker who first appeared on bookshelves 27 YEARS AGO 
5. Ladies, Wine & Design is a movement for women creatives set up by Jessica Walsh, the story behind it and corresponding sister campaigns make for some really great reading, they also do cool pins  (Via Marcus)
